Northland Pt 2 (strangeness)
Dargaville was a strangely beguiling place. And the man who served me petrol here was from Leeds, West Yorkshire, a right nutter! Judging by the houses, the locals are an eccentric bunch. Oh and a nice river

The far north can be a bit "weird"!Did you go to the Funky Fish cafe in Dargaville and did you observe the massive observatory in someone's back garden? Beautiful wild beaches, would like to go back!
