Nipping out for a beer

Paddling across Nagada Harbour to go for a few beers to a resort called Jais Aben, which means peaceful place.

I haven't learnt much Pidgen (Tok Pisin) yet, but my favourite word is definitely buggerup, which means broken, ruined, etc!!

A talking cockatoo!

Legi, a parataxonomist at the centre, Katka, a Czech PhD student, and some bottles of SP ale

Love the new photos, but am a bit concerned about you being drunk in charge of a canoexxx

Hi Phil, you are so lucky to be in such an interesting place. It reminds me very much of the Niger Delta area, especially as you seem to have to go by canoe for a beer! Have you tried paddling one yet? Great pics as always, keep 'em coming.
