A day in Mis bush

I spent a day in the bush in Mis with the primary goal of collecting some galls for a rearing experiment. As usual, I sweated buckets much to the amusement of my guides - a local guy, his sister, and a kid.

First, some critters: weevil, jumping spider, cricket, spider

The boy, Matoueh, full of beans, and a village kid.

Back in the village relaxing. From right (Matoueh, Kenson, Mata - my guides)

Glugging a coconut to the horror of the child to my right

Galls.

The child on your right was actually horrified by your ridiculous ginger beard. Very cute photo.
