One thing you didn't say about this amazing museum is that it is aaaaallllll free!
Well, glad to hear about your new plan, you will still find 9 days far too short but it's great you're staying more.
if you go South east North island there is the stupid village with the longest name in the world hahaha!
Well...if you stay only 2 months in PNG...that means you'll be back in the UK late june...hummmmm no comment on what you could do in july (the 17th) to make you feel better about the time you didn't spend in PNG.... :-D
Loved the museum but surprised there are no artefacts pertaining to Lord of the Rings (a big event in NZ) and the hobbits which were an integral part of the plot. Fodo of course was the main hobbit and I think he eventually saved the world by finding the ring. Fat 40 year old new zealanders do not have the monopoly on boring the shit out of you. Lousey book, lousey film and lousey effing hobbits. Hopefully PNG is hobbit free.
