Not enough people talk about leafhoppers in pubs or even in their own houses, so here is a collage of Costa Rican leafhoppers to give you something to think about.
The ones in the UK are much drabber of course, but they are there. There’s probably one burying into your foot right now where it will lay many eggs. No, but seriously, most are less than 10mm long. Why not strike up a conversation right now with the person sitting next to you? Just put a pencil in your mouth, look whimsically into the air and say ‘did you know, leafhoppers are very interesting…’

Might give that whimsical, pencily, leafhopper conversation a try next week in Skioni - see what reaction I get! Brilliant colours but the thought of all that burying - ugh disgusting. I shall be inspecting my feet everyday- just in case.............
Don't know what you mean, here we talk about leafhoppers all the time, both in pubs and in houses. Why only this afternoon myself and my friend Emma spent a good 45 minutes discussing leafhoppers and this conversation took place at a playground on a beach. Clearly you are not accurately informed regarding the quantity of leafhopper conversations. Perhaps you need to do more research in this area instead of sitting on your ass waiting for a hummingbird to fly past your cameraxxx
Cheers Phil I've only been asked to leave 6 pubs for talking about leafhoppers.
